Modern trends within the framework of commercial law

The Introduction

Today, the world is witnessing a profound transformation in the nature of commercial and economic activities undertaken by individuals and businesses. As a result of the World Trade Organization’s principles guiding the global economy towards an open market, the world has become like a small village. To keep pace with this transformation, it has become imperative to develop numerous tools that support human activities, most importantly commercial law. Commercial law is considered the most influenced by the commercial, economic, and social aspects of a nation, the most attuned to practical life, and the closest to its factors and requirements. Therefore, it consistently precedes other laws in being amended, modified, and supplemented whenever social development necessitates it. Commercial law aims to adapt and develop the commercial system to keep pace with global economic development. This includes a set of measures designed to improve the business and economic climate and attract foreign investment.
